Secret Fourth Starter in Pokemon Go!

Want to be the envy of your friends when starting off in Pokemon Go? There is a little known secret that allows you to catch a different starter than the three original pokemon. Continue reading to learn more.
In the original Pokemon games "Red" and "Blue", the player had access to three different starter pokemon: Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander. However, there was also another game that was released called "Pokemon Yellow". This game featured a Pikachu as a starter and is the fourth starter option in Pokemon Go.

In order to obtain this Pikachu, the player must physically run away from the starter pokemon. Once you start running away from them, the starters will reappear. However, if you do this process about 4 or 5 times a new starter pokemon will appear. This is the Pikachu.

Now, starters in this game aren't really as special as they were in the handheld video games. It is still possible to find them in the world however, they are pretty rare. Also, this pokemon will have an extremely low CP level so it is almost not worth it to try and train it. Despite this, it is fun and cool to be able to pick your starter.
