Do not Evolve/Level Up Pokemon right away.

When I started playing Pokemon Go a few weeks ago, I made a huge mistake right off the bat. In this article, I am going to warn you about leveling up or evolving your pokemon way too early

When you first start off your adventure in the pokemon virtual world, resist the urge to waste all of you candies and stardust. It pays off a lot better in the long run to hold on to these things and not spend them aimlessly.

The reason I am telling you to save these things is because you will find better pokemon. From about level 1-10 you are going to find a lot of low CP pokemon that are going to be very invaluable. Sure, you can still use your resources and power up these pokemon. But because you are still such a low level, you are going to be moving up fast and soon you will be catching better pokemon then your beefed up one.

So the main point here is save your stardust until you are at least in the teens (13-19) for level. This way you can get the most bang for your buck and get a crazy strong pokemon. Remember, that every time you level up, your pokemon can get stronger which means you have to spend more stardust.
