Take a quick look at this card and what do you see? This is what you might be thinking. It is just an innocent little dragon. I can easily take this on. How good can it be?
Well this is one of the most powerful and effective cards in the game as of right now. Let me explain to you why it is.
#1. This is a flying card. Aerial troops have no clear weaknesses in the game. Although they are known to be either slow and have relatively low HP, this one is in the middle. It can easily take a few hits if needed. It also evades TONS of damage that takes place on the ground. For example it, it roasts any melee fighter in a match. This is almost too sad to watch when your non-ranged troops get roasted by this flying figure.
#2. It does splash damage. Splash damage is a HUGE variable to have in Clash Royale. Utilizing splash damage efficiently can wipe out large waves of fighters. Another part of this splash damage allows it to take out flying foes and ground troops all at once. There is so much potential power waiting to be unleashed whenever one of these is deployed.
#3. The Baby Dragon has a low (and I mean low) elixir cost. This card only cost 4 elixir! A huge value with everything you get with it considering the many ways this card can be used. This allows Baby Dragons to easily swapped out of decks. It also allows the card to be played right away due to the fact you won't need to much elixir to place it.
#4. The final reason for this card being amazing is the versatility it has to offer. It can be lots of different troops in battle. It can defeat low HP troops with ease. It can take out any melee troops that get in range. It also can help attack ground only defenses like Mortars, X-Bows, and Bomb Towers.
Although this card features lots of benefits, it does have one slight weakness. It is not good up against defenses. For example a Tesla Tower will almost always defeat this on a 1 vs 1 fight with help from a Crown Tower. Infernos also eat this card up for breakfast so be weary of them
